Katrina was admitted to the degree of B.Sc. with First Class Honours in biochemistry in
1987. After working in medical research and in the pharmaceutical industry, she joined the
patent profession in 1989 and Halford & Co. in 1992. Katrina qualified as a
Patent Attorney in 1999 and takes a special interest in the field of trade marks. In
her leisure time, Katrina studies languages, writes poetry and listens to classical music.
